Our client is a leading food company who have been established for many years, their product range consists of ambient foods, herbs and spices, chutneys, poppadoms, nuts, grains, pickles etc.
They now have a new position for a Field Sales Representative to cover the London area. The role will involve selling a variety of branded food products into independent retailers.
You will manage existing accounts and you will also develop and open new business with new retailers in the Greater London area.
Working autonomously you will plan your routes to generate sales from areas assigned, you will up sell, cross sell and maximise spend with these accounts. Review of accounts will also be key as will the development of relationships with these store owners.
Collection of money will be required, as will depositing of cash and card payments.
Candidates applying for this role should have a proven background within field sales and experience within food sales, FMCG sales would be beneficial.
Ability to speak another language would also be desirable though not essential (e.g Hindi, Urdu, Bengali or Punjabi).
Candidates must also have a full driving licence (minimum of 3 points), as you will be required to drive a van on a daily basis.
