They have an expanding, diverse portfolio of products with a strong pipeline covering a wide range of treatment areas including mental health, analgesia, cardiology, dermatology, respiratory and urology.
They now have an immediate vacancy for a National Sales Manager.
This candidate can be based anywhere in the Midlands or North of the country or though a central location would be preferable for easy access for commuting.
This role will involve managing two Regional Business Managers, 3 Healthcare Development Executives and 3 further Support/sales staff. It will be a hands on role where as well as managing you will also lead by example and manage and generate your own accounts.
Duties will involve:
1) Implementation of a sales strategy.
2) Budget management.
3) Staff management.
4) Target and KPI management.
5) Analytical reporting.
6) 1 to 1 coaching/development
7) Mentoring, monitoring of reports.
10) Reporting to the main board of Directors
Candidates applying for this role should have previous experience managing a medical sales or pharmaceutical sales team. They should also have a strong understanding of the NHS, its processes, procedures and sectors such as Primary Care, Secondary Care. Knowledge of inclusions and formularies is also required.
Excellent man management are essential in order to exploit the full potential from the sales team they will be managing. This person should be a strategist with amazing drive and determination who can help the company reach new goals.
