We have a new role on the books for a Business Development Manager with our long established client who are a parcel courier company.
The role will involve selling their sameday, overnight and international parcel couriers services to allocated regions within the London area. The role will involve mainly new business generation but you will also manage some existing accounts.
Basic salary will be between 30-35k plus commission with uncapped commission and realistic earnings potential of around 50k. There will also be a car allowance.
Duties will involve sitting field visits to potential customers to find out if you can offer better pricing and general service to companies who already use a courier service or have the need to start using one.
You will build relationships with decision makers/directors in order to open new accounts.
Candidates applying for this role should have strong sales experience within the courier or parcel sector. Experience with International Freight will also be considered.
