We have been engaged by our London based catering equipment supplies company to help them recruit a Business Development Manager.
The role will involve developing new business by locating and selling to new outlets and market sectors. To also maintain and develop business with existing customers when requested.
You will be expected to acquire a thorough working knowledge of the company’s product portfolio and gain an understanding of their applications. This will be achieved by attending regular sales meetings, product training sessions and trade exhibitions.
You will plan your sales visits and monitor calls and progress via the CRM system ensuring that you build strong relationships to ensure that the company is the number one supplier when required by your customers.
Monitoring of installations via the Project Director, draughtsman and accounts department will also be key.
Working to set sales targets you will maximise sales of all catering equipment and associated products.
Candidates applying for this role should ideally have a proven background within catering equipment sales and ideally candidates should live within the M25 locality but this is not essential.
