Our client is a specialist medical publisher producing a highly annual medical journal with 450,000 subscribers.
Due to continued growth they now have several positions for Advertising Sales Executives. This role could suit a Junior Advertising sales candidate with say just one years experience or a senior candidate with 5 years plus experience. Salaries will be commensurate on experience and anybody with experience will be considered.
The role will involve selling advertising to professionals within the medical profession via means of cold calling, account management, up selling and cross selling.
In addition to the journal the company has additional lucrative revenue streams, one being the writing of Symposium reviews and Congress drug reporting for large pharmaceutical/drug companies.
Being telephone based you will bill in upwards of £200,000 per annum, some of the more experienced sales staff bill up to one million. A very attractive commission rate of 10% is paid on all signed orders so earnings potential is phenomenal.
Candidates applying for this role should be articulate, highly driven, have excellent communication skills and be able to develop relationships with senior decision makers. Previous experience in advertising in advertising/media sales will be a distinct advantage, although applications will also be considered from telesales/telemarketing candidates.
