We are working with our client who are an extremely long established and successful independent importer of premium cigars.
Due to retirement of a key individual they now have an immediate vacancy for an Account Manager to cover the North of England.
The role will involve visiting , managing and developing existing retail and catering trade accounts and also development of new business and new accounts. Typical accounts include Specialist Tobacconists, Cash & Carries, CTN’s, Hotels, Restaurants, Bars and Independent Multiple Wine Merchants. Additionally there will be responsibility for conducting cigar training sessions for trade accounts and periodically hosting of evening cigar and drink tastings/pairing events.
As well as cigars you will sell additional products also such as lighters, cases and accessories.
Working to set sales targets and KPI’s you will manage your allocated territory, maximising sales and spend. Building strong relationships is key as well as supporting buyers and offering a first class customer service.
Candidates applying for this role should have a minimum of three years experience selling Tobacco, Liquor or another similar luxury brand. Experience of pioneering new business in Retail and Catering Sectors is essential.
